Steps To Get Certified
1. Make Contact with Foresters & Forestry Companies

2: Meet with your forester or forestry management company to discuss the process, information requirements and estimated costs.
3: On agreement of charges the owner provides location maps and historical paperwork for plantation
4: Forest Owner agrees and signs required consent forms .

The main component of getting certified is to have a forestry management plan in place. The Forestry Management Plan looks at:

Full desktop study (legal documents, grants, felling application, county development plan, landscape characteristics, environmental characteristics, Hazards and constraints, etc.)

Site visit - full detailed survey of the plantation assessing all aspects and recording information

6: Submission of Forestry Management Plan approval.
7: Stakeholder consultation carried out.
8: Feedback of consultations and issues rectified.
9: Membership confirmed.
10: Ongoing annual charges for External and Internal Auditing.
